THE TRUTH ABOUT THE U.S. CONSTITUTION
The U.S. Constitution says a few things quite differently than the current usage indicates:
- Federal powers.
- Amendments 9 and 10 are the "Nothing else" amendments.
- They ban the federal government from activities not constitutionally given to it.
- This includes price and wage controls, subsidies, and other economic policy.
- Welfare:
- There is no provision in the Constitution for federal poor relief.
- Amendments 9 and 10 prohibit federal programs not provided for in the Constitution.
- They found the phrase "provide for the common defense and general welfare."
- They redefined "general welfare" to include poor relief.
- That's why they call it "welfare"--a prime case of amphiboly.
- Social Security:
- There is no provision in the Constitution for federal retirement program.
- As a savings program, like savings bonds, it did not violate the Constitution.
- Now that it is a federal spending program, it violates Amendments 9 and 10.
- It also now violates the clause that requires appropriations for all payments.
- Use of nationwide identification numbers is forbidden to Christians (Rev. 13-14).
- Using the Social Security number for identification violates Amendment 1.
- Prophesy says when mandatory ID numbers appear, the world is about to end.
- Separation of church and state.
- The phrase appears nowhere in the Constitution.
- The phrase does appear in the Communist Manifesto.
- Amendment 1 language limits government activity, not religious activity.
- An "establishment of religion" (in 18th century English) is a church.
- The establishment clause actually means that government may not make laws about churches.
- Its inclusion in our judicial law is another Atheist attempt to stop religion.
- The school prayer problem is caused by government-run schools.
- There is no provision in the Constitution for public schools.
- The Supreme Court should have ruled to remove government from schools.
- Schools promote Atheism by removing all religious references from texts.
- Social studies classes teach political correctness, a form of Humanism.
- Not all religion has been kept out of school, just organized and traditional religions.
- The right to keep and bear arms.
- The founders feared an organized army because they had been oppressed by one.
- They realized that a militia was a necessary evil to prevent invasion.
- They feared a military takeover or other military oppression.
- They gave the people the right to defend themselves from the militia.
- Adolf Hitler was able to take over by first taking guns from the people.
- The militia originally was also the police force.
- Does this give people the right to defend themselves from the police?
- IF so:
- If the police are in the wrong, many people will band together against them.
- If the police are right, the people will help them arrest the criminal.
- What we need is a weapon that removes bureaucrats.
- Sexual preference.
- Amendment 1 prohibits interference with free exercise of religion.
- The Holy Bible, the Koran, and the Torah all condemn homosexuality.
- Only three religions do not condemn homosexuality as wrongdoing.
- Lev 18:22; 20:13; Deut 22:5; and Romans 1:21-32 show how serious the problem is.
- Gen 19:1-29 emphasizes the trouble caused by homosexuality.
- According to Acts 1:25-27, homosexuality is caused by worshiping created things.
- The "science" that said that homosexuality is hereditary was shown to be bad science.
- There is no such thing as "a homosexual." Homosexuality is a behavior, not a trait.
- Eph 5:8-14 tells why Christians are to avoid homosexual offenders.
- The fact that unbelievers don't understand reasons for these verses is irrelevant.
- The fact that some people do believe these verses invokes Amendment 1.
- Any law prohibiting discrimination against "homosexuals" violates Amendment 1.
- Religious freedom and freedom of sexual preference are mutually exclusive.
- Elections.
- Elections are required to elect government officials.
- The Constitution does not specify the type of election.
- The Plurality Voting System was chosen because people did not know how much bias it introduces into elections.
- Now that the bias is known, the Plurality Voting System should be abolished.
- Plurality voting has not been abolished because politicians can use it to cheat.
- The only fully fair voting system is the Independent Voting System. It should be adopted.
- All other election systems have biases in them.
- Ranking systems produce strange results, by not discerning where voters stop liking candidates and start disliking them
- Election of the Vice President.
- Originally, the Vice President was to be the runner-up in the Presidential election.
- The political parties did something unexpected: They ran two candidates.
- In the Electoral College, one elector was chosen to vote for the wrong VP.
- This was necessary so the two candidates in the same party didn't tie.
- One year they forgot. The tie threw the election to the House of Representatives.
- The other party had the House, and toyed with making the V.P. candidate the President.
- The result was Amendment 12, which separated the offices in the Electoral College.
- It might have been better if the President and the V.P. were from different parties.
- Search and seizure.
- Amendment 4 requires a search warrant.
- That is that. There should be no judicially created exceptions.
- Amendment 5 prohibits taking property for public use without just compensation.
- Police taking of property when arresting suspects for crimes is unconstitutional.
- If police destroy property, it is taking without due process.
- The military could be accused of taking property by destroying it in war.
- Loss of rights due to anonymity of reporters of child abuse and drug offenses.
- Amendment 6 gives the accused the right to be confronted with witnesses against him.
- Currently, witness identities are hidden while agencies investigate.
- Welfare and drug agencies can even investigate based on anonymous phone tips.
- Welfare agencies have the power to take away children based only on accusations.
- Police and drug enforcement agencies can seize property on suspicion of dealing.
- Thus, welfare and drug agencies unconstitutionally assess penalties before they investigate.
- Amendment 6 gives the accused the right to compel witnesses to testify.
- If the identity of the witness is unknown, how can the accused compel testimony?
- Chain Gangs.
- Amendment 15 has an exception to the slavery ban for punishment of a crime.
- Forced labor was not originally considered "cruel and unusual punishment."
- Some judges and legislators seem to think work is cruel!
- Chain gangs are constitutional.
