INCONSISTENT LIBERALS

Liberals say one thing and do another. Here is a list of what liberals say they will do, with each item coupled to an example of what they really do:
Liberals claim to be the champions of civil rights....
So how come they keep trying to take away our guns and religious liberties?
They campaign on elevating people out of poverty....
So why do the eligibility rules on most social programs make people afraid to try to fend for themselves?
They promise everyone a job....
But they have no idea where the money to do that would come from.
To "create jobs" they spend billions....
The money they spend to "create" 100 jobs comes from taxation that destroys 110 jobs elsewhere.
They say that a "living wage" should be everyone's right....
Is this so people can afford to pay their income taxes, property taxes, and sales taxes? Just remember that a living wage can't be done, because the taxes are too high.
They cry that the Federal Government needs more money to keep the economy from collapsing....
The high taxes needed to fund such extravagant spending will cause to the economy to collapse even faster.
They holler and holler for equal pay for equal work....
Except for authors, artisans, and musicians, who they gave a special right to be paid over and over again for doing the actual work only once (copyright law).
They loutably protest any discrimination they see....
But they themselves discriminate vigorously against aliens, whites, protestants, and conservatives.
They want to legalize "recreational" drug use....
But at the same time, they want smoking banned.
They say that property taxes are only for the rich, since the poor rent....
But the property tax is included in each rent payment. If not, the owner would be trying to sell the building, instead of leasing it out.
They say that capital gains taxes are only for the rich....
Try explaining that to a poor widow who moves to a smaller house, when she has to pay tax on the "capital gain" from the increased selling price of her old home. Especially since that home didn't increase in value. Instead, the money decreased in value (due to government-caused inflation), making it look on paper as though the home increased in value.
They want special penalties for hate crimes committed against minorities....
So why do they commit such crimes themselves against fur owners, smokers, Republicans, conservatives, businessmen, and Christians?
They are the champions of law and order....
Until one of their own leaders is caught breaking the law. Then they do everything they can to subvert justice.
They "feel the pain" when a factory leaves to go to a place with lower taxes and less regulation....
They moan and groan about the lost tax revenue.
They decry any censorship of radical speech or public sexual expression....
Then they slap a label of "politically incorrect" on everyone who disagrees with them.
They work hard to give equal rights to every cult and quack religion....
And to do that, they take away the religious rights of Christians.
They complain loudly if someone tries to teach creationism or religion in schools....
But they defend teaching their own religions of Political Correctness (plagiarized from the Baha'i Faith), Environmentalism, Darwinism, Secular Humanism, Humanitarianism, Statism, and Earth Worship.
They demand special rights for homosexuality....
But to give such rights, they have to prohibit the beliefs of most religions. This takes away rights from most other people
They believe that homosexuality is hereditary....
They believe it so strongly that they used bad science to "prove" it. But the data they collected to do the bad science actually disproves their claim when correctly interpreted.
They promote both the belief in evolution and in hereditary homosexuality....
Proving either one disproves the other.
They believe that President Bush invented the Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) in Iraq to start a war....
And to perpetuate this belief, they suppressed the news that Saddam Hussein was using a false WMD memo to detect a double agent.
They believe President Bush concocted a complicated scheme to get the Iraqi oil....
And in the next breath, they say he is a total idiot who can't do anything right.
They demonstrate to end the Iraq war and bring the troops home....
Unfortunately, they have absolutely no idea how to do that, without endangering either the Iraqis or the United States.
They say we should "negotiate" to end the Iraq war....
But to do that, they would have to take away most of our civil rights, because that is what the enemy wants. The terrorists want to force an Islamic government on all countries.
They make a big fuss over anyone killed by a handgun....
And then they throw people in jail for trying to stop the killing in abortion clinics.
They scream that not enough is being done to create jobs....
So when an entrepreneur tries to create jobs, why do they burden him with high taxes, overregulation, and mountains of paperwork?
They demand that parents be responsible for the acts of their children....
So why do public schools undermine the standards of discipline instilled by parents?
They lambaste supervisors in private industry for committing sexual harassment against employees....
But when their own political leaders harass their employees sexually, it's "a matter of privacy" and "none of the court's business."
They want everyone to have a job....
So why do they shut down a factory full of jobs, just to avoid the "possible extinction" of an obscure specie of mouse?
They want stricter and stricter environmental rules....
This causes industries to flee to countries without environmental rules.
Half of them want renewable resources used for fuels....
And the other half try to stop the harvesting of trees as renewable resources for any use.
They cry that government doesn't get enough revenue....
And then they waste it on arts, useless architectural frills, sports, entertainment, and other nonessential nonsense.
They save every green space and old building they can....
Then they complain because there isn't enough business in town to provide the jobs and tax revenue they want.
They support union scale for all government contracts....
Of course, this raises the taxes all union workers have to pay in the process.
They take the side of the union in every labor dispute....
And when the factory shuts down because it can't afford everything the union demands, they blame it on bad management.
They believe that if we are nice to other countries, they will be nice to us....
That's one reason the terrorists were able to attack so easily in 2001. So they blame the President instead.
They claim that they "must" have a tax increase to fund a much-needed increase in law enforcement....
But they won't cut any spending on such unnecessary items as sports, the arts, entertainment, recreation, and beautification.
They pass a special tax to meet a budget shortfall of a certain amount....
And at the same meeting, they vote to spend the same amount of money on a useless sculpture.
They say, "it's for the children," in everything they do....
They do things such as encouraging domestic violence, divorce, broken homes, and absentee fathers, through their permissiveness on sex and their rules on collecting from social services.
They pass laws to limit how much individuals can contribute to political campaigns....
And then they break them when they are running low on funds for an election.
They want to do away with crime....
So they pass laws to confiscate the weapons crime victims need to fight back.
They promise more laws to stop criminals....
So they cut back the police force, and refuse to spend any money to build more prisons.
They create laws to catch the criminal before the crime....
Thus, they make criminals out of honest citizens.
They cite the statistic that they put many more criminals in jail....
And then they let them out again after ridiculously short sentences.
They "rehabilitate" criminals instead of incarcerating them....
So liberals teach them trades (such as locksmithing) that will aid them in their criminal activity.
They want every citizen to be perfectly safe....
This is why they take away the weapons needed for people to defend themselves against released criminals, violent drug abusers, and sex fiends, who liberals say aren't hurting anyone.
They want every product to be perfectly safe....
Each product is so safe that nobody can use it for the intended purpose.
They demand that economic problems must be solved....
But they are too busy figuring out which Republican to blame, to have any time to actually work on a solution.
They always campaign for improving the economy....
But all of their programs expect wealth to be magically created out of nothing, instead of the honest work that actually creates wealth. Government has no power to create any wealth.
They are for integrity in government....
So why is one of the most influential people in the party a man who killed someone while driving drunk?
They say they value public opinion....
They must value it. They keep trying to change it.
