FIRST AMENDMENT AND GLBT BELIEFS
What is the First Amendment?
The First Amendment clauses:
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting
the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press, or the
right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a
redress of grievances.
The First Amendment religion clauses explained:
Eighteenth century English has these meanings:
- respecting = having anything to do with
- establishment of religion = a religion, a religious organization, or a
religious denomination
So in present English, it means:
Congress shall not make any law having anything to do with any religion, or prohibiting
the free exercise of religion, or....
What is GLBT?
The components of GLBT are people who are:
- Gay (Homosexual)
- Lesbian
- Bisexual
- Transgender
- Several other gender choices
Does God prohibit everything GLBT?
Yes. All of GLBT is prohibited as sexual immorality.
Exodus 18:22 - Do not have sexual relations with a man as one does with a woman, that
is detestable.
Romans 1:26-27 - Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women
exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned
natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful
acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error.
Deuteronomy 22:5 - A woman must not wear men's clothing, nor a man wear women's clothing,
for the LORD your God detests anyone who does this.
Everything else in GLBT is based on one of these.
How does this affect the status of GLBT?
Since God prohibited all of GLBT, any belief in GLBT has to be a different religion.
Since anything GLBT is disobeying God, it is obeying satan.
What does the First Amendment say about GLBT?
- People have the right to believe in GLBT and to do GLBT things.
- People have the right to speak on the topic of GLBT.
- People have the right to not be discriminated against due to their GLBT belief.
- GLBT believers do not have the right to discriminate against other beliefs.
- GLBT believers do not have the right to force their beliefs on others.
- Because GLBT is a religious belief, it must not be taught in the public schools.
- GLBT believers do not have the right to order others to comply with their beliefs.
- GLBT believers do not have the right to make others disobey their religions.
What does the First Amendment say about worshiping God (in the Bible)
- People have the right to believe in God and to obey God.
- People have the right to speak on the topic of God.
- People have the right to not be discriminated against due to worshiping God.
- Believers in God do not have the right to discriminate against other beliefs.
- Believers in God do not have the right to force their beliefs on others.
- Because belief in God is a religious belief, it must not be taught in the public schools.
- Believers in God do not have the right to order others to comply with their beliefs.
- Believers in God do not have the right to make others disobey their religions.
What does science say about GLBT?
- Mainstream science has nothing to say on the subject.
- Too many amateur "scientists" tried to prove the reality of GLBT using bad
scientific methods
(setting out to prove what you already believe is already bad science).
- Most of them collected the wrong data and/or used the wrong statistics.
- Psychology is a speculative science, NOT a deterministic science that can investigate by
experiment.
- Psychologists have created most of the GLBT beliefs.
- Liberals like the idea of more than two genders because they dislike God's choices.
- Geneticists say there are only two genders: XX and XY.
- The birth gender is defined to be the genetic gender.
Individual Cases:
What about the restroom problem?
- Most religions require that members must not be in a state of undress in the presence of
people of opposite birth gender.
- This is a religious right in the First Amendment.
- People demanding to use restrooms different than their birth genders are violating the
first amendment rights of others.
- For those who are unhappy with this truth, the single user restroom is an option.
- Psychologists do not have the right to make people disobey their religions.
- Liberals want to violate people's constitutional rights to favor GLBT.
What about the sports problem?
- The use of a locker room is the same as the use of a restroom (above).
- It is a violation of several religions to misrepresent your birth gender.
- The physiological and kinesiological properties of male and female bodies are different.
The biological male body has a strength and physiological advantage over the
biological female body.
- None of the gender-modifying drugs and procedures can change the muscular or physiological
properties of the body.
- It is unfair for a transgender person using a chosen gender to compete against people
using their birth genders.
- Competing against opposite birth genders violates some religious beliefs.
- Anyone screaming for gender equity is condoning the cheating.
- This is a case of actual properties, not political beliefs.
What about the pronouns problem?
- Most religions require that members must obey God by not obeying the sins of GLBT.
- People demanding that others use their chosen pronouns for their new genders are violating
the first amendment rights of others.
- People demanding that others must believe that they are their new genders are violating
the first amendment rights of others.
- You have the right to ask for your pronouns, but you cannot compel others to use them.
What about the wedding cake problem?
- Most religions require that members must not disobey God by doing or making things that
disobey God.
- People demanding that others must disobey God by making items that disobey God are violating
the First amendment rights of others.
- People demanding that others must disobey God by making items that disobey God are
discriminating against religious people.
- People refusing to disobey God by not making demanded items that disobey God are
not discriminating against those demanding the objects that disobey God.
What about the GLBT in classrooms problem?
- There is no real scientific basis for the existence of GLBT as a state of being.
- Liberals want it to be a scientific fact so they can demand civil rights for it.
- GLBT is a religious belief because it is based on disobeying God's prohibiting all of the
GLBT acts as sexual immorality.
- Because GLBT is a religion, it must not be taught in public schools except to the level that
the school covers all religions equally.
- Teachers must not be teaching or testing kids for gender anomalies. Parents control this.
- Nothing that acts to change anyone's gender can be allowed until the person is an adult.
What about gender-affirming care?
- There is no real scientific basis for the existence of GLBT as a state of being.
- GLBT is a religious belief because it is based on disobeying God's prohibiting all of the
GLBT acts as sexual immorality.
- Part of the problem is that schoolteachers are telling kids they can change their genders.
- Teachers must not be teaching or testing kids for gender anomalies. Parents control this.
- Nothing that acts to change anyone's gender must be allowed until the person is an adult. These
are the reasons why:
- This can be a permanent decision. Children are not competent to make such decisions.
- Children have totally different feelings before, during, and after puberty.
- Some of the treatments can cause irreversible damage.
- There is no way to fully become the other gender. The other procreation function is not
available.
- The genetic gender cannot be changed.
The competence of an adult mind is necessary to make such a complex decision.
Recommendations:
So what should people do?
- You have the right to obey your GLBT religion (God might disagree).
- You do not have the right to hate or discriminate against any religion.
- You do not have the right to require others to obey your religion.
- You do not have the right to cause others to disobey their own religions.
- Using your chosen restroom causes others to disobey their own religions. Do not force this
onto others.
- You do not have the right to demand that someone must disobey a religion to serve you.
- You do not have the right to demand any special government status for your belief.
