THREE WAYS TO TURN LEFT:

• Turn through gaps in traffic
  • A steady circular green means that left turns have to wait for gaps in the oncoming traffic.
  • A steady circular green also releases other movements.
• Protected left turn
  • A steady green arrow means that there are no vehicles released in conflict with this left turn
  • A steady green arrow does not release other movements.

  • A flashing yellow arrow means that left turns have to wait for gaps in the oncoming traffic.
  • A flashing yellow arrow does not release other movements.
